Delta Airlines Bringing First Class Seating to Lafayette Regional Airport in June
The following is a Press Release:
Beginning June 8, summer travelers looking to fly first class to Atlanta from Lafayette will have that option. Delta Airlines has announced that they will offer two flights a day on CRJ700 Regional Jets each of which has nine first class seats. The addition of the larger jets increases the daily number of seats available to Atlanta to 330 per day, 30 more than the current 300. This service will be available seven days a week.
“We’re bringing in the larger jets to handle the anticipated uptick in passengers for summer travel,” says Delta Station Manager Jason Saucier. “The CRJ700s will be used for the first two flights of the day – at 6:05 a.m. and 7:20 a.m. The planes will return to Lafayette for 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. flights.”
